Cost & Profitability; Analytics; and Operations Management Consulting

Economic uncertainty and global competition in today's marketplace compounds the pressure to increase value. Ultimately, companies must transform volumes of data into meaningful knowledge to be able to identify, understand, and improve drivers of cost and profitability. Cost and profitability management solutions provide actionable insight across all parts of an organization that reveals hidden opportunities to help achieve sustainable bottom-line growth and increase value.

For companies wanting to have that competitive advantage and be able to increase value, some of the questions that they would be looking to answer would be: what is my strategy and do all the pieces fit together?, how well do my employees understand the company’s strategy and their role in it?; what generates long term value growth in my industry?; how will my plans change with changing market and economic events?; are my plans realistic and based on facts and are my forecasts accurate?

Forecasting and strategic planning solutions address these questions. They provide a rigorous fact based decision platform that allows companies to monitor their current performance, plan and create operational budgets that support their strategy, predict and forecast the future and tie that into an overall strategic framework that will drive increased value

In looking at how successful a company has been, many tools and techniques have been put forward over the years. One of the key underlying principles has always been that we only manage what we measure. Said another way, what we measure drives people's activities and performance. If we measure the wrong thing or things that are inconsequential, people’s efforts and behaviors are focused on those things and that generates reduced values, not increased values.
